Problems (5 pts each)
1. Create a box and whisker plot for both teams salaries on the same scale (1 graph).
(The main variable will be salary and the "by" variable will be team).
2. By reviewing the box and whisker plots, which team has the most variability in salary and which teams salary is skewed?
3. Calculate the mean, median, and standard deviation of the salaries for each team.
4. Suppose you are an "average" free agent and were negotiating a contract with the Celtics. An “average” free agent implies that you are neither the best player on the team nor the worst player on the team. What would you "like" to make in terms of salary? What would you expect to make in salary as an "average" free agent (i.e., what would you expect to be offered)? Defend your answer.
